ATEX certified E2 luminaires have been developed for safe use in gas and dusty environments where high temperatures and sparks could cause an explosion hazard. Our ATEX luminaires bear the following markings: EX II 2D Ex tb IIIC T80 Db and EX II 3G Ex ec IIC T4 Gc. Just like the E2 series, E2 ATEX is made for extreme environments: extremely water-resistant (IP66 and IP69K), impact-resistant (IK07), as well as temperature- and chemical-resistant.
